Table Reference

Hand Values: Number cards count at face value. Jack, Queen and King each count ten. An Ace counts eleven unless that would carry the hand past twenty-one, in which case it drops to one automatically.
The Goal: Finish closer to twenty-one than the dealer without going over. Go over and the hand is dead the moment it happens.
Dealer's Fixed Rule: The dealer draws on any total below seventeen and stands on every seventeen, soft or hard. There is no judgement involved and no exception.
Natural Twenty-One: Two cards totalling twenty-one pays three to two — a 100-coin stake returns 150 coins on top of the stake. Two naturals facing each other is a push.
Push: Equal totals return your stake untouched. Nothing is won and nothing is lost.
Coins: Your stack is virtual, starts at 1,000 coins, and resets whenever you reload the page or press Reset Coins. Coins cannot be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed for anything.

Small things worth knowing

The shoe is honest

Fifty-two distinct cards are built and shuffled with a Fisher–Yates pass. Cards are dealt off the top and never returned mid-shoe; when the shoe runs low it is rebuilt and reshuffled from scratch.

Aces adjust themselves

An Ace enters the hand at eleven and quietly falls to one only if the hand would otherwise bust. The score readout always shows the best legal total you hold.

Twenty-one stands itself

Reach exactly twenty-one on a draw and the table stands for you. There is nothing left to gain from another card, so the hand moves straight to the dealer.
