Frequently Asked

Common questions

Does Timeto cost anything?

No. The table is free, no purchase is necessary, and there is no mechanism on this site through which a payment could be taken even if you wanted to make one.

Can I buy coins, or cash them out?

Neither. Coins are a scorekeeping device that exists inside your browser tab. They cannot be bought, sold, gifted, transferred between players, or exchanged for money, goods, credit or anything else.

Where did my balance go after I reloaded?

Back to 1,000, which is by design. Nothing is stored between visits, so every arrival starts from the same free stack. You can also restock mid-session with the Reset Coins button.

What exactly is the dealer's rule?

The dealer draws on any total below seventeen and stands on every seventeen, whether soft or hard. It is applied identically on every hand and printed in the reference panel beside the cards.

How does a natural twenty-one pay?

Three to two. A 100-coin stake returns your 100 coins plus 150, and the callout states the exact figure. Two naturals facing each other is a push and your stake comes back untouched.

Is the deck genuinely random?

The shoe is a full fifty-two card set built from four suits and thirteen ranks, then shuffled with a Fisher–Yates pass before dealing. Cards leave the shoe as they are dealt, and a depleted shoe is rebuilt and reshuffled.

Do I need an account?

No, and there is none to create. There is no registration form, no password and no profile, which also means there is nothing for us to lose on your behalf.

Which browsers work?

Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on desktop, tablet or phone. JavaScript must be enabled, since the game logic runs entirely in your browser.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes — 18 or over, everywhere the site is reachable. Free play does not change that.

Something is broken. What should I include?

Your browser and version, the device you were using, what you were doing when it went wrong, and what you expected instead. A screenshot of the readout row helps more than anything else.

Get in touch

Email is the only channel we run, and it reaches the small team that maintains the site rather than an outsourced desk. Write to hello@timeto-nhl.com and expect a reply within two business days; messages arriving over a weekend are usually answered on the Monday. We read everything, including the blunt notes about the design.

Useful things to mention: the browser and device you were using, the sequence of actions that led to the problem, and the coin figures shown in the readout row when it happened. If you are writing about a rule rather than a fault, quote the line from the reference panel you are asking about and we will explain the implementation behind it.

We will never ask you for a payment detail, a password or an identity document, because nothing on this site requires one. Any message claiming otherwise did not come from us.
