TIMETO Social Play

Responsible Play

Keep it a short, good habit

Timeto costs nothing and pays nothing, but time is still real. Here is how we suggest spending it, and how to stop when you would rather be elsewhere.

Entertainment only. Timeto is social gaming for amusement. There is no real-money wagering on this site, coins hold no cash value, and nothing you win or lose here has any consequence outside the browser tab.

Eighteen and over

Access to Timeto is limited to adults aged 18 or over. We ask that anyone below that age leaves the site, and we ask adults who share a device with younger members of a household to use the parental controls their operating system already provides. Free play is still adult play, and card games in particular deserve that line.

Why a free game still deserves limits

Nobody can lose money on this site. What can quietly disappear is an afternoon. A hand of twenty-one takes seconds, resolves cleanly, and invites another one immediately — which is exactly what makes it pleasant and exactly what makes it easy to keep going past the point where it was fun. Treat the table like a coffee break rather than a destination and it stays worth returning to.

Practical ways to stay in control

  • Decide how long you intend to play before you deal the first hand, and set a timer on your phone rather than trusting the clock in the corner of your screen.
  • Close the tab at the end of a round, not in the middle of a streak. Finishing on a decided hand is far easier than finishing on an open one.
  • Notice what you are doing between hands. Playing while distracted, tired or restless tends to stretch a session well past the length you planned.
  • Keep the game in daylight hours if you can. Late-night sessions are the ones people most often describe regretting.
  • Let the coin balance be a signal, not a goal. Because it resets freely, chasing it back up is the one thing on this site that genuinely means nothing.
  • If a session leaves you frustrated rather than entertained, that is the moment to stop — the game will be identical tomorrow.

Taking a break

There is no account to suspend here, which makes a break simple to arrange. Close the tab and the balance is gone; there is no progress to preserve and nothing waiting for you. If you want a firmer boundary, block the domain in your browser or at the router for as long as you like. Site-blocking extensions and the screen-time controls built into most phones and computers do this in a couple of taps. We will not email you, notify you, or otherwise ask you to come back.

Signs worth paying attention to

Free games sit next to activities that are not free, and the habits can look alike. Consider stepping away, and speaking to someone you trust, if any of the following sound familiar: play is cutting into sleep, work, study or time with people who matter to you; you feel irritable or on edge when you cannot play; you find yourself hiding how long a session lasted; or the game has become a way of avoiding something else rather than a break from it.

Support for gaming and gambling habits is available in most parts of the world through national health services, independent charities and confidential helplines. Because Timeto is available internationally we do not point to one country's service over another — a search for gambling or gaming support alongside the name of your region will find the organisations that operate where you live, and a doctor or local health service can refer you as well.

Our own commitments

We do not sell coins, run limited-time offers, operate loyalty streaks, or send reminders to return. We do not use countdowns or scarcity messaging to hurry a decision, and the countdown language in our branding refers to the hand in front of you and nothing else. The age notice and the entertainment-only disclaimer appear on every page of this site, including this one, by design.
